Week 1

For Our Project, we would like to make a game that everyone know that brings happiness and friends to enemies. The game is called UNO, a game that can be played by 2 to 10 players. What makes UNO interesting is that you can trick your friends into losing. The deck consist of 4 “wild card” and “wild draw 4,” and 25 each of four different colors (red, yellow, green, blue). Each color consists of one zero, two each of 1 through 9, and two each of “Skip,” “Draw Two,” and “Reverse”. To play, each players are distributed with 7 cards and the first card in the deck is opened as discarded card, the person that is left to the dealer start first. On a player’s turn, they must do one of following the conditions: play one card matching the discard in color, number, or symbol, play a Wild card, or a playable Wild Draw Four card, draw the top card from the deck. There are different effect of each cards. “Skip” has the effect to next player in the sequence miss its turn. “Reverse” has the effect to change the direction of the play directly from “left to right” or vice versa. “Draw Two” has the effect to next player in the sequence draws 2 cards and miss its turn. “Wild” has the effect to change color of the pile sequence. “Wild draw 4” has the effect to declares the next color to be matched; next player in sequence draws four cards and misses a turn. May be legally played only if the player has no cards of the current color. Last but not least, the person holding the last card has to to say “uno” to remind others that he has only one card left, if the person has only one card and other player says “uno” first, the player with one card has the penalty to draw 2 more cards. “UNO” is commonly known as a game that is fun to play with and each player can develop its own strategy.
